Welcome to my 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint Convertible Page

When I was a kid my dad drove a 1965 Sprint Hardtop.  I remember this car well.  I don't want you to get the wrong impression, this car was not a pristine princess but a daily driver that made our family a 2 car family for the first time.  I think this was about 1973 or 74ish.  He loved driving that car.  I wish I had a picture of it to put on the site.

 

My love of classic 60's muscle cars came from my father.  I remember him pointing them out to me by make and model.  Make no mistake, this is Ford family.  I always dreamed of having a classic Ford of my own and when I finally decided to build one I decided it had to be a Falcon.  I love convertibles so I started my search for a ragtop and it ended with this car I found in the classified section of the KC Star in 1995. 

 

This isn't a restoration resource website but more a celebration of it being done.  However, here are some early pictures of the car when I first bought it.   I wish we had taken more.  I called my wife the day I bought it and she told me she couldn't wait to ride in it.  I explained to her that it didn't run.......she would wait 10 years for her first ride.
